Guest Design for Retro Rubber Challenge #8

Because this card was the winner of the Retro Rubber Challenge #6 I have the honor of guest designing for the new challenge: EYELETS!

Stamps: Hero Arts (flower), Penny Black (sentiment), Inkadinkado (butterflies, dragonfly)
Punch: Martha Stewart (grass)

When I had put everything away I saw those circle scribbles from PTI that I desperately wanted but hadn't used yet and thought they might look good with those triangle eyelets from my stash.

Stamps: PTI (scribbles), Winnie & Walter (sentiment)

Technically this card doesn't work for the challenge because the stamps are less than a year old but I wanted to show you anyways how old and new product can still work well together.

If you have been stamping long enough to remember when eyelets were as trendy as sequins are now (and you haven't thrown them out while decluttering your craft space) you should dig them out and play along! It's fun to show some love to our older products which is what the Retro Rubber Challenge is all about (stamps should be at least one year old)! Check out what the Design Team came up with! Looking forward to seeing your creations in the gallery!

Hugs,
Susanne

What a marvelous card, Susanne: the 'old' triangle eyelets (how cool is that!) and the new' Scribbles pair together perfectly! Your scribblies make me all happy! Love this Congrats on being the GD over at Retro Rubber (I think you should be on the DT *grin*)

It's great to have you as a guest designer with Retro Rubber! Your eyelet cards are great!! It appears that you have quite a collection, which I never did. Maybe they will come back in style... Thanks for playing with the design team this week! Hope you will play with us again soon.

A winner and a fab five and a guest designer. Couldn't happen to a nicer stamper! And now a reason to use eyelets which are more numerous than dew drops. Two very 'happy' cards.

So very glad that you joined us as a guest design team member. Your cards are great.... did not know eyelets were produced in other geometric designs (although did see flowers once upon a time). Regardless, we are so glad you joined RRBC this challenge! I certainly hope that you come back to see us every challenge!!

I love all those shaped eyelets. I have a lot of those. I went through a period of time buying up different shapes. And never using them. Both cards are fab. Congratulations on being guest designer for RRBC!
