Retro Rubber Challenge #6

ETA: This card was a winner at the Retro Rubber Challenge!

Another last minute post!
I recently discovered a challenge that is all about using your "retro" stuff, stamps that are at least a year old. And you know how much I love to dust off my older stamps so, of course, I had to play. Thinking I still had plenty of time I leisurely worked on my card until I checked the closing time...

This time we are given a sketch:

RRBC06

keepintouchcards.blogspot.com

Stamps: Stampin' Up (swirly heart background, swirly heart), Winnie & Walter (sentiment)
Dies: MFT (scalloped border), Sweet 'n' Sassy (glitter heart)

Made a background with Distress Inks and white embossed the background stamp (from 2001!) on it. The rest is pretty self-explanatory. If you have questions please let me know.

Challenges:

  8. 2001??? Now that really IS retro! That background you created is so lush and delicious. The colours are stunning. I don't have any background stamps at all and really must remedy that problem, so I can attempt something like this!! Thanks for the inspiration and for joining us at TIME OUT!!
