My apologies for the sparse posting here at the moment! I am so behind with everything this year and am now officially in panic! As I am sure you are all busy as well I will keep this short but I wanted to share two glittery snowflakes cards I made.
and a close up to see the glittery card stock better (although the gray weather didn't make the glitter sparkle very much)
And since I didn't want to waste the negative die cut I made this card
Stamps: Stampin' Up (both sentiments)
Die: Hero Arts (snowflake)
Other: Glitter paper (Recollection), snowflake paper from my stash
Lots of snowflake themed challenges in blogland at the moment. As always click on the links to find out details or browse for inspiration:
Virginia's View #21 "All About Glitter"
Sadly, Virginia's View is taking a brake after this one. Since Virginia did everything by herself it is understandable that she is in need of of a brake! I hope she will be back because she always had cool themes!
Time Out #45 "Snowflake are Winter's Butterflies"
Inkspirational #97 "Flake"
Cupcake Inspirations #339 "Let It Snow"
Simon Says Work It Wednesday "Holiday"
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Let It Snow"
Hope your holiday preparations are going well! Don't forget to take deep breaths once in a while (note to myself)!
Hugs,
Susanne

Both cards are so classy and elegant! The layering and glitter are spot on, Susanne! Beautiful use of your stamps and supplies! Thanks so much for playing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday “Let it Snow” Challenge! I really appreciate your support over Virginia's View Challenge. You are the best!
Super cute!!! Thank you for joining us at Cupcake Inspirations, good luck!!! Amy DT
Ich bin verliebt, in Deine Schneeflockenkarten!!! Wunderschön gemacht und gut recycelt.
LG Gundi
Beautiful cards! Love that big glittery snowflake! Thanks for joining us over at Inkspirational! :-)
Glad you are apologizing - 'cause we wanna see more of your beautiful cards! Lovely snowflake and nice second card, using the negative die cut. Would have been a pity to throw it away and this way you get two cards out of it! I like to do that too. My German upbringing does not let me waste stuff....
These are both so pretty!! Love how you've got the use out of both the negative and cut pieces of snowflake! :) Thanks for joining in the fun with us at {Cupcake Inspirations}! Hugs & Smiles - *Vicki*-DT Sweetie
Breathe in...and out...breathe in...and out...We'll do just fine with our 'panic' *grin*! Your snowflakes cards are stunning...love the glitter and the way you made marvelous use of both the negative and positive die cuts! Happy dancing that you shared in two of my DT galleries: Ink and Cupcake Challenges! Yayyyy!
hugs~c

I think we're all pretty much in that "panic" mode about now, lol! In addition to the holidays, we've got two birthdays coming right up, and that means added fun around here! Love your snowflake cards; that glitter paper is phenomenal! Such pretty designs too. That blue paper really accents your flakes. Love these. Bev
love how you used the positive and the negative - thanks for sharing your project at Cupcake Inspirations
Gorgeous glitteriness, Susanne ... fabulous crisp shimmer and one of my fave colour combo's ... delicious! I'm delighted you had chance to play along with us at Time Out amidst all your busy-ness! Hugs, Anita :)
Wonderful cards. LOVE the big glittery snowflakes and cool colour scheme. xxx
I like what you have done with the negative part of the die cut. Waste not want not! Looks very festive. Hugs Mrs A.
