Another Valentine's card plus Buildings 4

"Anything goes with twine or string" at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge this week! You still have over two days to play in case you are inspired to use a piece of twine or string on your project! Here is mine:

And since I used snippets it also get's to play at Pixie's Snippets Playground

The woven piece behind the heart cutout I made a while ago when I had many red strips left over from a project. Of course, I couldn't throw them away! Stamped some of them and did a little paper weaving!  Hope, you like it!

Also wanted to share another card using buildings (since it's been a while). Made this a few months ago for a dear friend and promptly forgot to take a picture before I mailed it. She was kind enough to photograph it for me:

The cloud is embossed with swirls and the speech bubbles has stickles around the edge.

I always appreciate your visits and kind comments!

Be well,
Susanne

So much texture, Susanne! I just love that swirly texture folder, and this is a good reminder to pull it out and use it more often! Purple and red just go together, don't they?! Wonderful card. : ) Bev

Ooh, I love the colour combination and the paper weaving of your first card - it looks fab! I am also impressed by your colouring of the buildings on the second card to pick out the number '50' - very clever! :)

Fab cards. Your weaving looks terrific and it's such a striking colour combo.
Really love your idea on the 2nd - with the coloured numbers. Gonna file that idea away :-)

Zwei tolle Karten!!
