Two Green Cards

I blame it on snowstorm Stella and the resulting 30 inches of white stuff outside that made me create with the color green in the last few days, hehe...

Stamps: Sentiment (Altenew)
Dies: Stitched Rectangle (SSS), Foliage (Memory Box)
Inks: Distress Inks, Delicata Gold, LuminArte Gold

I had lots of fun smooshing a darker panel (for the foliage) and a lighter panel (for the background) using different shades of Distress Inks.

Challenges (click on the links for more information and lots of inspiration from the DTs and the galleries) - graphics at the end:

They are celebrating already one year of fun - Happy Birthday!
My choices are die-cutting, stitching, vellum, gold splatters
This card won "Outstanding Design"!

This card was "Top Pick"!

Stamps: Flower and Sentiment (Essentials by Ellen)
Other: Washi Tape (Stampin' Up)

I made this next card in my mind while driving to pick up my kids from school after I saw the gorgeous inspiration board of the current Pin-Sight challenge...

Hi Susanne, making these beautiful cards is a great way to get through 30 inches of snow! My goodness! I love your framed, smooshed greenery and your large stacked flower is gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing these with us at CAS Watercolour and CAS Mix Up!

LOVE your beautiful watercolour leaves and background. It really does look like spring on your blog, even if you're dealing with 30" of snow (that's TOO MUCH!). :) Gorgeous card, thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour!

Lovely second card too ... white, green and gold .. beautiful combination! xx

Your first card just speaks to me of spring - those lovely fresh greens and the leaves. Beautiful smooshing - love the idea of using the light greens and the dark greens to contrast the background with the leaves. Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour.

Just saw your first card on IG (I need to focus more on blogs than IG and will, once I get some 'disorganization' dealt with!) and came dashing here to share my comment: Absolutely love this! Smooshing spectacular background and those leaves...sensational! Hope you're running this beauty over to Inkspirational Challenges. I'll be waiting for you (nudge, nudge...). Just as I caught my breath, your second card came into view and...THUD! Another jaw-dropping beauty! Your layered flower, paired with the green background and perfect spicing of gold, is a WOW! In awe! I'm kind of glad that snow fall happened *grin* (not really...but it sure sparked some outstanding cards!)
Hugs~c (remember: Inspirational Challenge...)

I'll echo everything Carol said, and add a few words of my own about your cards. Glorious smooshing and the deep greens on that leaf are so rich and beautiful. The lighter green panel is the perfect background for them. That flower on your second card...Ohmygoshgorgeous! While we didn't get 30", we did get 28" but I don't think I was nearly as brilliantly creative as you were! Fabulous cards!! Bev

Congratulations! And what a lovely way to celebrate your snow with all this gorgeous greenery. Love the shades you've achieved on these leaves, and it looks wonderful with the white underlayer. Gosh, this is a beautiful card! Then I scroll down to see the golden & white blossom, and it's another beauty. Maybe you should enjoy storms a lot, because it certainly sparked so much creativity this time! LOL. I really like the composition & design on each card very much. TFS & Hugs

Bin echt begeistert!
