Happy 13th Birthday

Today my youngest turned 13! Now I have two teenagers in the house! Since both my boys also speak German I chose a German sentiment for his card. The balloons that look almost white are actually a light green.

We are currently away on an island on beautiful Lake Muskoka, Ontario, Canada. This is out last night here. This summer turns out to be crazy busy. But soon I hope to find more time to craft and post!

Perfectly beautiful, Susanne! Great guy card--can't say boy now that he's 13, right?! Sounds like a great vacation--lakes are our favorite!

How fun to wish him happy birthday in such a unique way! Love the deep color of the base juxtaposed with the softer balloons!

Amazing that your boys both speak German and that you are encouraging it, even here in the States. Great idea to use that on his card. Love the color, maybe you were inspired by the beautiful lakes in Canada. Thanks for playing along with us at Seize the Birthday!

Fantastic, Susanne ... fun, bright, celebratory ... bet your son loved it! How brilliant both your boys are bilingual ... you must've worked hard to make sure that happened ... what a wonderful advantage they'll have! Summer here has been crazy too ... hence me being so late coming by ... doing lots of catching up! Bon weekend, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)

It's a perfect card for a youngster, who probably doesn't appreciate 'fussy'. Love the colorful balloons, & the clever way you've gotten the age factor in the design. Lots of texture in the balloons too. Enjoy the rest of your vacation. TFS & Hugs.
