If you every urgently need a birthday card for a young male relative but, to your great surprise, don't find anything suitable in your large stash of cards, here is an idea for you:
Take a piece of a saved tissue box (not the pink, flowery one), a big die, a matching sentiment stamp, a few pieces of washi tape, and a white card.
And you are ready to write your wishes inside, sign it, make the rest of your family members sign, and mail it!
There you have it!
(But then again, you are probably more organized and plan ahead and everything...)
Stamps: My Favorite Things (sentiment)
Die: My Favorite Things (Happy)
Challenges:
CASology #191 "Washi"
Shopping Our Stash #245 "Something for the Big or Biggest Boy"
Retro Rubber Challenge #35 "Anything Goes"
I've had the stamp set for about 1.5 years
Be well,

Love it, Susanne! I've actually saved several tissue box pieces for die cutting, but hadn't thought to use it for word dies. Great inspiration!

What a fun idea for a fast card! Great CAS idea for men and women! Thank you for playing along with us at Retro Rubber and hope to see you in our gallery again soon.
Amazing CAS & so cleverly designed card. Then when I read how you did it, I was even more bowled over. It is just one of the best recycles & very attractive treatments - and I would never have thought to create such a card. Kudos to you on this one, and no I'm never prepared ahead either. I'm a last minute card maker sad to say! And mine don't turn out this grand either!!! TFS & Have a great week.
And the tiara for genius goes to you today, Susanne! Absolutely positively genius! And it's a cool card design, too!! Hugs, Darnell
Susanne, you're a woman after my own heart! Recycled tissue box??? LOVE it!!!! I have a couple of fabulous ones in service at present, and was thinking how much I liked the pattern. Guess where they will be headed?? As for your card - it's perfect. Love the straightforward use of washi! I will be CASE-ing this! So glad you could share with us at CASology this week!

I love CAS because that is how my brain thinks and am envious of all the crafters who make such beautiful layered and detailed cards. Love the washi! Thank you for joining us at Retro Rubber!!

Great CAS card I will need to CASE! I don't always plan ahead either. Love your comment about making the rest of the family sign the card, LOL! Thanks for including Retro Rubber in your stamping fun this week!
Fab! CAS quick & easy x
Well I just HAD to pin this fab masculine card for future reference and a possible CASE! Thank you for the inspiration xxx
Guten Morgen ;))
Auf so eine Idee muss man erstmal kommen - aus wenig viel machen!! Ganz toll!
Ganz liebe GrĂ¼sse Elisabeth
Na das ist eine coole Idee! Muss ich mir unbedingt merken! Tolle Karte ist da entstanden!
You don't know how many old flattened tissue boxes I have in my basement ;) Perfect for die cuts! Love this design.
No way am I organized enough to create masculine cards; neither do I have very much manly-themed products in my collection. Your recipe for up-cycling a tissue box: brilliant! Looks like I can carry on with ordering girly stuff, now that you've solved the guy issue!
