Copper and Turquoise

When I saw the photo at "Inspired by the Little Things" (see further down) I thought the color combo of the mason jars was so striking!. So that's what I concentrated on for my card.

Stamps: Concord & 9th (world map), Clearly Besotted (striped background), Inkadinkado (sentiment)

Created a DI background with water splatters. Stamped and embossed the map with an ancient embossing powder from PSX. It created a texture but I don't know if that is because it is old or not super fine. I kind of like it. Stamped and embossed a border around a white panel using the same powder. The rest is self explanatory I think. If you have any questions, contact me.
I really love this color combo of copper and turquoise!

On another note, I always used picmonkey to add the watermark to my pictures for free but all of the sudden it wants me to pay for a membership - bummer! Do any of you know of another free software for watermarks?

Be well,

A really gorgeous, artistic card, Susanne! I love the embossed stripes & of course, that great map! I was really bummed yesterday when I discovered Picmonkey is no longer free. Let me know if you find a good replacement.

Total schoen! Wenn Du einen Computer mit Windows hast, dann benuetze doch Paint - so mache ich immer meine watermarks auf meine Karten. Super einfach und kostet nichts.

Gorgeous card! The embossing powder texture looks fabulous and if it's PSX - it must be old :)

LOVE the texture of the embossing powder, Susanne ... makes it seem as though the world map is in relief! You've made this yummy colour combo shine! Sorry, can't help with the watermark thing ... I just type mine on every picture and don't know how to do anything else (I'm so not techy!)!! Hugs, Anita :)

I commented on either IG (I think) but I'm here for second helpings, crushing over your lovely texture-y map and the beautiful bronze/turquoise. Stunning! Yes, I know of an alternative: ipiccy.com I stumbled across it when I, too, discovered the 'new deal' at picmonkey. I'm sure you'll figure out how to use it quickly. The watermark was a wee bit tricky, so if you need a quick 'how to' just let me know!

LOVE the colour combination and how you've used it Susanne. Gorgeous card with a fantastic design. I paid for my card editing program, but it wasn't expensive ($70). xx

Such an eyecatcher! Those colors are wonderful. Hope you're enjoying autumn. I hear MI got a heat wave after I left ;) I use Photoscape to edit my photos and add a watermark. It's free.
