Quick, quick, another card before the door closes on the NBUS #5 challenge hosted by the fabulous Darnell! Don't panic, you still have until the end of today (Friday, started writing this on Thursday but didn't have time to finish and post it), so go ahead, pick something from your "Never Before Used Schtuff" pile (because I know you have one), make a card and post it!
I should have at least entered one card per day to make a dent in my Mt. NBUS but unfortunately time would not allow it... My card actually features two NBUS: The Brevilla Houses and the Arbocello tree, both from Memory Box. Cut out the tree from a scrap of watercolor paper and watercolored it.
Made this for my friend who recently moved away. The airplane symbolizes the hope for many visits back here!
Stamp: Winnie & Walter (sentiment), Inkadinkado (airplane)
Dies: Memory Box (houses, tree), Sweet 'n' Sassy (clouds)
Challenges:
NBUS #5 (second entry)
Pixie's Snippet's Playground #194 (second entry and also closing soon!)
The tree and the clouds are cut from snippets
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Die Cuts"
Memory Box #4 "Terrific Trees"
Wishing you all a fun and creative weekend!
Hugs,
Susanne

Well how fun is this new home card? I love the way you jazzed up the die cuts and the addition of that tree is fabulous!!! Great design!!
Yay for breaking out the NBUS!! I've got a little stash yet to hit, myself, lol! What a sweet card, and I'm sure your friend will love getting this in the mail. Love how you've made 'her' house stand out. Have a great weekend. Bev
She will love it when she "lands".
SUPER FUN!!!
Well done! Love the colors and theme. Your friend will appreciate this so much, Susanne! Thanks so much for playing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday “Die Crazy” Challenge!

Those stand out stripes are brilliant, Susanne ... what a fabulous neighbourhood scene! Love the plane encouraging lots of visits! Hugs, Anita :)
Great card Susanne. I know what you mean about Mt NBUS. I have a few more Sheena Douglass stamps that would qualify as I have not used them.
Two FFs was because of a slight mix up!! Oops!!

Hi, eine schöne Karte zum Abschied und Neuanfang! Ja all die schönen NBUS überall...Darnells Challenges sind echt gut :-)
Good for you in getting some entries into NBUS. I didn't make it this time, to my disappointment. I love the blast of blue sky behind this city scape. Love how you've use the kraft color for the houses, but added some bright stripe pattern to the one house to emphasize and tie it with the bright border. Wonderful dimensional tree on your 'city street' too! TFS & Happy Sunday.
Love the pop of colour on the one house and that airplane image is a perfect touch.
Such a fabulous scene , I would love to live in that neighborhood :)
This is super cute! Thanks so much for playing along with us over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog!
What a wonderful scene you have set up for us here! I love it! Thank you for joining the Memory Box Challenge.

Great design.
Hi there! Thanks so much for participating in our September challenge. I am so very happy you chose to do a new house card. I think there aren't enough samples around of those and your project will definitely inspire people.
Your friend will adore the new home card you've created, as do I! Love the plane as a symbol of visiting...and I hope she does!
Hugs~c
This will be treasured, Susanne, just as your friendship will be. Adding that symbolic airplane was genius and it's an idea I will definitely be stealing! Thank you, as always, for your sweet words of support!! Hugs, Darnell
