When I saw sketch #132 by N@Ali over at CAS(E) this sketch several ideas popped into my head. One was to use a die cut in the corner. It became a sympathy card because I think the negative die cut is a good symbol for the loss. Not always but very often I keep my sympathy cards very clean and simple. Look...
And then, of course, I couldn't throw out the piece I cut out and made this...
Stamps: Morning Star (sentiment)
Die: Poppystamps (leaf)
Other: Marco's Paper

CAS(E) this sketch #132
So sorry but the photos from our last week in California will have to wait until next time. My computer is very slow tonight and it has gotten too late.
Thanks for your visit!

These are lovely!! I like how you used both the negative and the positive!! I need to make some simple sympathy cards. People are always asking me for them!!
Two stunning cards for a very sad occasion Susanne! I love the simplicity of them. That is all that is needed for a sympathy card! Hazel xx
I love these, Susanne! A simple leaf like this speaks volumes and makes such an impactful sympathy card. It's a perfect take on the sketch challenge! Hugs, Darnell
Simple and lovely, Susanne ... positive or negative die cut, they're both such perfect sympathy cards! Anita :)
Lovely cards! Wonderful take on the sketch!
So beautiful in it's simplicity Susanne!
Thanks for playing at CTS!
Perfect use of the positive and negative die cut. Top marks. xxx
This is perfect either way! Love the serenity of both of them!
so beautiful mf....I love how you interpreted the sketch....
Two lovely cards...simple and classy. I need to remember that die cuts offer two opportunities; perhaps more 'strategy beforehand' required when I create them!
