Another CAS card for CAS(E) this sketch #132

As I said in my last post I had several ideas for sketch #132 of CAS(E) this sketch... That's why I am back so soon! And don't worry this time it is a card for a happier occasion!

Stamps: Hero Arts (flower), Technique Tuesday (sentiment)

The flower is heavily "winked" which is always hard to photograph. Here is a close up. Sorry it's not quite focused...

Challenges:

CAS(E) this sketch #132

a2z Scrapbooking July challenge "CAS"

And here are some more pictures from California. The last week we spent in the San Francisco Bay area on the coast. It was very hard to pick just a few from the many photos I took!
(You can see more pictures from our trip here and here)

Boardwalk in Santa Cruz
(Doesn't that roller coaster remind you of the die that SSS recently came out with?)

Big Sur

Along Highway 1 towards San Francisco
(Check out the coastal fog!)

That's about as much as we saw of the Golden Gate Bridge...

Capitola

And look what I found when we came back!

Even the potatoes were sad that we were away for so long...

If you made it through the whole post - my compliments!

Thank you for your visit and your kind comments! If you have any questions, please let me know!

Hugs,
Susanne

A brilliant CAS with this bold yellow spark of color with the splendid Dahlia stamping. The WoS showed very intense in the closeup. The happy yellow shape looks lovely against the crisp whiteness. Enjoyed seeing the vacation photos..someone is a great photographer. Got a laff from the potato guy...it really does look like a reverse smiley! TFS & have a great wkend. Hugs

Love your bright, sunny card with extra wink! It looks fab just like your photos. Hopefully it is happy enough to put a smile back on to your potato's face :)

I am catching up on my reading and I find you have been very busy indeed since your return home. You are right about the die cut fern, such a calming color for a sympathy card. Now this cheerful yellow just says wake up and be happy!

Wink and glitter are always out of focus around here! I LOVE all this bright yellow and that gorgeous flower in the corner! Brilliant use of this sketch! Your question about the Zigs...I think the 12 is fine if you like bright, vibrant colors. I'll be filling in with some of the lighter colors but I'm not in a big hurry. Besides the 12 pack was in my budget and came within a week versus shipping from Japan. I got them from Amazon.

Your shimmery, glimmery flower is a sunny delight! Fabulous take on the sketch. Your San Francisco photos...oh my! I was there years upon years ago (hit by a car while walking across the street...not a 'fond' memory...long story) and would like to go back...even though the thought of doing so makes me a bit nervous. Your pictures are enticing...and fabulous!
