Mother's Day for Happy Little Stamper Sketch

When I saw the sketch for April at Happy Little Stamper I was attracted to the rainbow stripe but then went a different route (besides there are already several gorgeous rainbow cards in the gallery - check them out). Here is my card:

Stamps: Autumn Leaves (flowers), Avery Elle (sentiment)
Die: MFT Dienamics (mom)

The MOM is cut out from a nice shade of burgundy that works well with the red ink but looks brownish on my screen.

Happy Little Stampers April Sketch Challenge

That's it from me for today! Need to go to bed and get my beauty rest...

Enjoy your weekend,

  1. What a lovely, bright, and cheerful card! Sorry I haven't been by lately. You've been making some really wonderful cards too! I've been on the mend from a bad chest cold and I finally felt good enough to get creative last night for the first time in ages! Hoping to do more this weekend. Anyway, loving the cards you've been making! :-)

  2. This is a great take on that sketch Susanne, so bright and cheery! Have a lovely weekend! Hazel xx

  3. Love your interpretation of the sketch Susanne! The sweet flower images make a great background and your "mom" really pops. The washi tape adds lots of fun too. Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers.

  4. What a beautiful springy and perfect card for Mom, Susanne! I love this design!! Hugs, Darnell

  5. I LOVE what you did with the sketch! The flowers are just beautiful! Thanks so much for playing at Happy Little Stampers xx

  6. This is so pretty!! I love the oranges and how you used the flower stamp rather then watercoloring. Fabulous card!!

  7. Good on you for going a different route!! This is so beautiful and just love the stamps and colours you chose. Some lucky Mum is going to love this one!

  8. Great take on the sketch! Love how you've used the flowers and those colors.

  9. I was positive I left a comment earlier, because I was so taken with your interpretation of the sketch, but apparently not! Either blogger ate it (lots of that going on with my comments, of late) or I was so busy gazing in awe and delight that I just plain forgot! Pretty cards, like yours, can be distracting that way! Whatever the case...I'm back for another visit and as pretty as I considered it first time round, it's even more so, with a second viewing! Gorgeous and heart-warming!

  10. What a fabulous explosion of gorgeous colour, Susanne ... love how the sentiment pops right of it! Anita :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! They make my day!
