Created a watercolor background, used the flame stencil with gesso, poured gold embossing powder over it, let it dry, heat embossed it and then didn't know what to do with it. Thought those words would work. Embossed them in black on vellum and adhered everything on a black card. Played around with sequins but after consulting with my 14 year old son decided it looked better without.

I will probably be back with another one (just a warning)...

It worked for sure! Cool idea, to heat emboss the gesso.
By the way - your link to the watercolor challenge does not work. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
Warning, once you start with stencils you won't want to stop! Love them paired with watercolors.
Thanks, Cornelia, I fixed the link!
What a stunning card! I really like the way it turned out! You and I must've been on the same creative wavelength this week because I also experimented with metallic embossing powder on my stencil sections. I really like how you blended the flames with the watercolor background and it all matches your sentiment perfectly! This card is both sophisticated and whimsical and I enjoyed seeing it so much. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
Awesome card! Love the effect of the embossed paste. The vellum looks great. :-)
Suzanne, what a brilliant idea for using water-colors with your theme and design! The colors are absolutely captivating! So glad that you join the first Virginia's View Challenge!
Wow ... what a perfect stencil to pair with your gorgeous watercolour background, Susanne ... the gold is stunning! Anita :)
