Twofer Card Challenge #11

Welcome to the November Twofer Card Challenge! This month we want to see what you can do with your wreath stamps, dies, or stencils. Yes, you read that right, Darnell added stencils to make it easier.

I don't have many wreaths stamps or dies, and no wreath stencils. I picked this older stamp from Hero Arts that I think I have never used before and made a Christmas card and a birthday card with it.

Stamps: Hero Arts (wreath), Stamplorations (sentiment)
Dies: Simon Says Stamp (butterfly), Nestabilities (circles)
Other: Cuttlebug (embossing folder strip)

The butterfly and the dark circle are actually purple even though the look almost black on the screen...

Just realized that this card fits the current CAS Mix Up Challenge
My choice is die cutting.

Stamps: Hero Arts (wreath), WPlus9 (sentiment)
Dies: WPlus9 (sentiment), Simon Says Stamp (little star), big star unknown

The pink is sparkle paper. Hard to see on the photo.

Every month it's such a pleasure to see what you do with the prompt word! Have fun playing with your wreaths, be it a stamp, die, or stencil! Can't wait to see your creations in the gallery!

Be well and keep in touch!

Fell in love with these right away, Susanne. That sparkly pink and gray Christmas card is wonderfully CAS, and I do love those non-traditional colors. Great idea to emboss in white. The way you've used that same wreath in green on green and in such a way to highlight that pretty butterfly is really lovely. A wonderful pair of Twofer cards! Have a great weekend. Bev

Where to start? These are magnificent wreath cards, Susanne! The butterfly and border circle do show purple when I clicked for a closer look, which everyone needs to do! I think it is brilliant how you stamped the wreath around the circle to create such an airy design for your filigreed butterfly! The border embossing takes it up another notch! And your Christmas card is just amazing! I love the gray and white and pink for a holiday card and have made a mental note. I also love how you set your wreath off the edge and added the matching pink narrow border! I can't believe you had this gorgeous wreath in your NBUS! (You should find some challenges to enter with both these winning cards!!) ❤Hugs, Darnell

I LOVE your wreaths!! I love that you created the Christmas card with pink and your other card with green, white and red accents-kind of Christmas colors!! Both cards are AMAZING!! GREAT take on the challenge. I am going to try to do this today and this is so challenging!!

I just love that HA wreath too, Susanne! You really made it sing with those two cards!! What a great idea to use it to create a leafy background circle on the butterfly card. It looks great in white with the pink stars too!!

I love both cards, Susanne! How clever you are to use the wreath stamp to make such a beautiful background for the delicate butterfly! I love that you dry-embossed on the side! It adds so much interest in a subtle way. And I love the non-traditional Christmas colors of your Christmas card. The pink glitter paper accents are so pretty! Great design too.

Such a creative, clever and gorgeous way to use that delicate wreath on your birthday card, Susanne ... it's soft and feminine with lovely texture in the background ... and the daintiest butterfly to adorn it! LOVE your pink, grey and white Christmas card ... contemporary and fresh ... and so festive with the stars! Great minds again on our layouts, my friend ... we even used the same WP9 set for our sentiments! Inspiration through the ether n'est-ce pas! Hugs, Anita :)

A zillion apologies for being MIA...just heaping plates of 'life' right now, but I hope you know that I see - and LOVE - allll your cards! Your wreath twofer: oh my stars! The white/grey/pink of the first is fresh, crisp and gorgeous! So impressive the way you transformed the stamp into a soft, pretty landing spot for your delicate butterfly to light! WOW x two!

Such a beautiful wreath stamp and I love how you've used it both ways! I wouldn't have thought to use stars on a wreath, but I love the idea and will file it away for future reference. Brilliant to use it as a foliage background on your butterfly card, too. You have a very creative mind!

I love the colors and unique designs on each card, but I'm especially fond of the offset wreath in pink and grey! I love the stars with the white wreath! The butterfly looks gorgeous with that stamped circle and the embossing adds such a wonderful touch to the card as well! Beautiful!

So glad you used that NBUS wreath because, in your creative hands, it is absolutely gorgeous! I love your gray, white, and sparkly pink design for your elegant Christmas card! That airy and dainty butterfly is the perfect match for the feel of the stamp design, and I love how you stamped it around the green circle. Two amazing cards for a twofer, Susanne!

I can’t believe this is a NBUS stamp. It’s so pretty and you used it beautifully to create your twofers! Love the colours of your Christmas card... so stylish and non-traditional! Big fan of non-traditional colour Christmas cards. And I can see the glitter pink paper. And then to use the wreath to stamp the background on your birthday card is just brilliant. I can see the purples of your butterfly and sentiment (after you mentioned it that is 😉) and another fab colour combo. I think these are my favourites so far of your twofers. Awesome job! xx

Two beautiful cards Susanne!! Fantastic colour combination with your gray card base, white heat embossed wreath and those pretty pink stars and strip on the side. Love this design using non-traditional colours for a Christmas card!

Your second card is another beautiful colour combination. Purple and green are amazing together. They just pop off the white dry embossed background. Great texture and dimension on this design. xx

Wunderbar wie Du den Stempel eingesetzt hast, einmal klassisch und dann (fast gar) nicht wieder zu erkennen. Hach und diese Farbwahl!!!!

Two stunners, Suzanne ! And you answer my question with your second card, I was wondering if we could use the wreath without showing it’s a wreath. And it’s exactly what you’ve done and brilliantly moreover. I’m also totally in love with your Christmas card. I love these non-traditional colours. Two wonderful CAS cards ! Thanks for the beautiful inspiration. x

Well, I have tons of wreath stamps & dies--including the one you used which I'd forgotten about! Funny--we both made birthday & Christmas cards! I really love both your cards, Susanne, but the Christmas card is my favorite! I adore pink & gray but not sure I ever used it for Christmas--you've inspired me again!

J'adore!!
Ich hab mir diesmal ganz fest vorgenommen bei der Challenge mitzumachen, mal sehen was sich findet, ich bin nämlich auch nicht reich bestückt was Kränze betrifft.

I love this wreath, Suzanne and unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available anymore. I hope you ink it up again! It makes a beautiful Christmas wreath and I love the gray, pink and white! The way you used it on the birthday card is so creative and the row of embossing and die cut butterfly make me think of a warm garden! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
