Twofer Card Challenge #10

Happy October! Hope it started out well for you and that you are ready for this month's  Twofer Card Challenge #10 ! The word prompt is

Remember it's about making two cards for two different occasions using the same stamp or die and taking a picture of both cards together!

I gathered a basket full of crisp apples for you! The stamp is from a very old Stampin' Up set that I have never used but I felt it was perfect for the theme. I had lots of fun coloring it in using colored pencils on kraft and brush markers on white.

Here I added a little bird from the same set to the scene. The oval die cuts are from Gina Marie Designs.

The sentiment on this card is a gift from a dear bloggie friend. It's German and means something like "Best Wishes". It went to her for her recent birthday. I had admired the stamp one day on her blog but unfortunately it was no longer available. Months later she discovered it on eBay, ordered it, and sent it to me! Crafty friends are the best!
By the way the green strip is more Washi tape! If I continue like that I will soon run out, hehehe!

If you haven't checked out my teamies fabulous creations hop on over to the Twofer Card Challenge. This months guest designers are Crafty Linby and Liz ! Please be so kind to leave them all some love!

I can't wait to see what you will be harvesting and sharing in our gallery! Happy crafting!

Be well and keep in touch!

Oh, my friend, I have fallen so epically behind in commenting on your lovely expressions of creativity that I’m sure you’re ready to ditch me entirely. Hopefully not; the summer and fall have been filled to the brim (and will continue to be for the next while) with bike-race officiating (primarily), and the accompanying treks that accompany it, as well as several extended visits with my mom. Even my crafting has taken a slide (although that hasn’t really put a dent in my shopping…sheesh!). Anyway…enough excuses!

Your basket of apples is absolutely sensational in its starring role on both cards. Marveling at your amazing colouring; the highlights and shadows are perfect. These fresh, crisp apples evoke thoughts of apple pie, apple cinnamon muffins, apple...anything! Love your duo!

Beautiful harvest image, Susanne! Love the pencil colouring on kraft .. fantastic job of shading to create lots of visual dimension. And the image looks amazing done in watercolours on white. The bright colours just pop. Great design elements with splattering and that fantastic washi tape border. So cool! xx

That must be an old stamp because it’s wood-mounted! 😂 ha ha. These are fantastic. Beautifully coloured and designed. I love Kraft cards, so I’m a little partial to that one. And lucky you to have such a thoughtful friend to gift you with that stamp... crafty friends are the best! x

Oh la la ! J'adore ! It may be an old stamp but you made two gorgeous cards with it ! Love the shape and the design of your first card. And your colouring is so beautiful, you succeeded to give such a gorgeous shine to these apples that they look real. Also love the CAS look of your second card. I should follow your example with the washi tape, I have so many and I never use them. I love the delicate dimension it gives to your card. Two gorgeous twofer, Susan ! Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration. Have a great weekend. xx

Two pretty harvest cards with a totally different atmosphere, Susanne!
I love the soft look of the pencil colored Kraft card. The paper bow adds an organic feeling. The marker colored card is bright and lovely. The spatters in the background and the woodgrain washi tape border are the perfect finishing touch.

Gorgeous cards, Susanne! Your coloring is wonderful in both mediums and I love how different they look on kraft versus the white. the first card is designed so beautifully with the double stitched window, rounded corners, and raffia bow. Such a beautiful sentiment on your second card and I love the details of the twine, green pp, and tiny dots of blue!

I love how each of your cards looks so completely different! The coloring on kraft paper really makes a difference, doesn't it?! Sweet robin just waiting for a chance at that fallen apple. Pretty oval die, and the bow is a great finishing touch. Love your second card, too. Your friend was sweet to send you that stamp, and you've used it perfectly here. Perfect use of that washi tape...and if you run out, let me know....I'll send you what I have left!! : ) Bev

Love you used the old SU stamp which is new to me, and perfect for this challenge. I also like to use colored pencils on kraft paper, and always Copics.

Es mag eine alte Briefmarke sein, das Ergebnis ist wunderschön! Beide Karten sind wunderschön coloriert! Die geraden Linien und die knackigen Farben der Äpfel auf der Karte mit dem Washi gefallen mir besonders gut!
