More Cards with the Cling Wrap Technique

As I told you in my last post I had made three more cards from the panels I created using this awesome technique (see CAS Mix Up for details) but had to wait for the cards to arrive. Well, I don't know if they have been received but the challenge is closing so I am going to post this anyway.

I made the first two cards out of one panel and was pretty happy with their modern look. It was only the day after that it occurred to me that there was no stamping involved! And the girls at the CAS Mix Up Challenge like to see some stamping on the entries, in fact it's a rule.  I didn't see a way to add some stamping to these cards so I made a third card.

Stamp: Hero Arts (sentiment)
Dies: Impression Obsession (Happy Birthday, little hearts), My Favorite Things (snowflake), Nestabilities (circle), Jillybean Soup (tag)

You might have to enlarge it to notice the little hearts sticking out of the tag...

The third card goes to

CAS Mix Up January Challenge

That was it for now with cards featuring this technique. But you know (if you read my last post) that I have a lot more panels...

One more thing: A lot of bloggers are now responding to every comment. While I enjoy it, I hope you'll forgive me if I don't do it. I can barely keep up with my commenting alone (you might have noticed that I am quite late sometimes)... Thank you for understanding and please know that every one of your comments brightens my day and is treasured!

Be well and keep in touch!

This sounds like a fun project for a rainy (or snowy) day. Your cards show there are many creative ways to use the technique. Love the flower in you last post!! And I like the dark happy birthday card even if there is no stamping...sometimes you just have to let the background shine.

All 3 of your cards are so gorgeous with your pretty cling wrap backgrounds. I agree this technique is so fun and it is impossible to make only 1 background. Wonderful to have the BG in your stash for the future:-) I loved your color combination and beautiful artsy lines. TFS Susanne and for joining us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs...

Katrin

For some reason, when I attempted to use this technique, it would not cooperate. Your cling wrap panels are gorgeous. Beyond gorgeous! The depth and texture you've achieved is amazing and I keep going back to look at it again and again. The cards are fabulous, and I know that their recipients are going to love them. I know I do!! You've rocked it, girl!! xo Bev

What wonderful results with the cling wrap, Susanne! Beautiful colors and patterns! Love the angles of the first cards! (I forget the stamping sometimes too.) And the splattered background and tiny hearts added to the last card! Thanks so much for sharing these with us at CAS Mix Up!

I saw your note about the commenting. I totally understand and can't keep up either.

You've achieved amazing results with the cling wrap technique, Susanne! The first 2 cards look so cool and modern with the blue & purple colors and the angled panels. I hear you - I sometimes I forget to stamp and notice that after the card is finished (and I don't want to add anything!)
The gorgeous circle cling wrap on the third card looks like a beautiful globe. I love that you placed the circle off the edge. Hideko xx

Glad you got your card in for the challenge, and great catch on that rule ;). They are all beautiful, Susanne! They look like water trapped under a thin sheet of ice - so cool! I just had that very conversation about comment responses the other day! I'm with ya!

Awesome backgrounds, Susanne ... and gorgeous cards you made with them ... the sense of depth and texture is fabulous! Comment responses ... I'm with you too ... goodness, I'm so behind at the moment I can't even leave comments on each post I visit, never mind respond to every one! I so understand, my friend! Hugs, Anita :)

You got some awesome results with this technique, and loads of texture. Lovely big spaces of texture! I also like the color themes - and while I loved all 3 cards, my fav will be the last one. Just love that wonderful circle with the spatters. Well done! TFS &Hugs (also liked the way you did the 'stamping' save. Have done the same thing too.

WOW, Susan ! You totally rock with this technique ! Your Cling wrap panels are just stunning and when I watch them I really think that the result is better with glossy paper ! I have to give it a try. The cards you made with them are so gorgeous and your colours combos are a delight. Beautiful CAS designs as usual. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Have a great WE !
