I made this Thank You card with another one of my new Uniko stamps. Those beautiful, delicate flowers were part of this year's anniversary set.
Stamps: Uniko (flowers, sentiment)
Die: Nestabilities (circle)
The center flower is popped up as is the sentiment panel. I have to say their sentiment set "Simply Said" is so versatile and the small font is great. It covers lots of occasions. I love it!
Challenges (Please click on the links to find out about rules, see the inspiration of the DT and browse the gallery):
Uniko Challenge #31 "Metallics"
The sentiment is gold embossed, layered in gold, there are gold splatters, and gold half pearls on the white circle.

Palm Fronds in front of a Wall
This past week my boys were on spring break and we went to Washington, D.C. for a few days. I had never been there myself. Boy, is there a lot to see - too much for one visit! All that history! We enjoyed it very much and hope to go back again some day!
This afternoon I made three cards which is quite unusual for me! I will show you one of them (can't show you the other two yet).
Stamp: Hero Arts (sentiment)
Die: Hero Arts (palm fronds)
Other: stencil (TCW)
This card makes me happy in several ways:
First, I absolutely love these palm fronds from Hero Arts.
Second, I finally used this die that I got from a2z Scrapbooking store, when I won their challenge quite a while ago (why, oh why, did it take me so long??).
Third, I used a watercolored background that didn't come out quite as I hoped it would (I was trying my hand on the faux glazed glass technique that Sandy Allnock mastered so beautifully - me not so much) but instead of throwing it out I used it for die cutting and really like it now. Not wasting anything always makes my happy!
Lastly, a long time ago I bought a holder full of Whisper ink pads but never use them because I find them too light/dry for stamping. Somebody who purges regularly would have thrown them out long ago but today I discovered they are perfect for lightly sponging through a stencil!
Challenges:
a2z Scrapbooking Challenge April "Watercoloring"
CAS Mix Up Challenge "April"
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Birthday, Cornelia
You all know her, and you all admire her creativity and style - yes, today is Cornelia's birthday!
Since she is German (even from the same state!) I wanted to use a German sentiment on her card. All stamps are by create-a-smile which is a German company (that also carries English sentiments). The "Alles Gute" is made with this cool Crystal alphabet set that is really easy to line up. I silver embossed and colored the letters with Spectrum Noir markers. I also added Wink of Stella which is impossible to capture on camera. (I tried close ups but they didn't come out!)
I sponged part of a stencil with white pigment ink, white embossed the sentiment and added some enamel dots.
Liebe Cornelia, hoffentlich hat die Post geschafft, dir die Karte pünktlich zu bringen! Mach dir einen schönen Tag!

Uniko - Mother's Day
It's late and I really need to go to bed but a challenge closes soon and wanted to enter the card I made for it!
Recently I was lucky to win a very generous prize from Uniko. I couldn't wait to play with my first stamps from this sweet company. I started with the set called "Beautiful Blooms III". They stamp beautifully and are very easy to align. I had lots of fun creating this card!
ETA: I feel like I have to point out the gold strip, splatters and "happy" because the photo doesn't really show it!
Stamps: Uniko (Beautiful Blooms III, Simply Said), SSS (happy)
Die: Avery Elle (stitched zigzag border)
Challenge:
Uniko #30 "Spring/Easter"
Mother's Day is in spring...
That's it from me today! I am sooo tired!
So happy you came by for a visit!

Quick and Easy Masculine Birthday Card
If you every urgently need a birthday card for a young male relative but, to your great surprise, don't find anything suitable in your large stash of cards, here is an idea for you:
Take a piece of a saved tissue box (not the pink, flowery one), a big die, a matching sentiment stamp, a few pieces of washi tape, and a white card.
And you are ready to write your wishes inside, sign it, make the rest of your family members sign, and mail it!
There you have it!
(But then again, you are probably more organized and plan ahead and everything...)
Stamps: My Favorite Things (sentiment)
Die: My Favorite Things (Happy)
Challenges:
CASology #191 "Washi"
Shopping Our Stash #245 "Something for the Big or Biggest Boy"
Retro Rubber Challenge #35 "Anything Goes"
I've had the stamp set for about 1.5 years
Be well,
